Product description : 
This product is a 5-nitrofuran and is used to treat diseases caused by trypanosomes including Chagas disease and sleeping sickness. It is given by mouth and not by injection,it has also been used to treat African trypanosomiasis (sleeping sickness), and is active in the second stage of the disease (CNS  involvement).Combination therapy with eflornithine and nifurtimox is safer and easier than treatment with eflornithine alone, and appears to be equally or more effective.
